We care deeply about the health, safety, and well-being of our customers and their families. We encourage you to read our warnings and how-to guides so that you can use our products in the safest, most effective way.
The Nursing Pillow is for adult use only. It is designed to use as support during breastfeeding and bottle-feeding. Never leave your baby alone with the Nursing Pillow. Supervision is required by an awake, alert adult.
Never let a baby or child sleep on or with the Nursing Pillow, as this creates a risk for suffocation. If your baby falls asleep while nursing/feeding, or you feel you might fall asleep, move your baby to a safe sleep space.
The Nursing Pillow is not meant for co-sleeping or bed sharing, and it is not a sleep positioner. The Nursing Pillow should never be left in a crib, bassinet, or other infant sleep area.
Do not use the Nursing Pillow while standing, as this could create a fall risk for your baby.
Never hold your baby face down in the Nursing Pillow. When using the Nursing Pillow, always ensure that the baby’s head is positioned on the pillow so that their face is visible and their airway is open.
Never let your child unzip the inner pillow. The microbeads inside the inner pillow are nontoxic and non-allergenic, but they can be a choking hazard.
The materials used in our pillows conform with the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) standards for the textile category and this is validated by a CPSC-approved independent U.S. lab. Our products conform with CPSC mandatory regulations 16 CFR Part 1500, 16 CFR 303, and 16 CFR 423, in addition to ASTM D5489-18 and California Proposition 15.
Our materials are OEKO-TEX® certified. OEKO-TEX® is a worldwide, consistent, independent testing and certification system for raw, semi-finished, and finished textile products at all processing levels, as well as accessory materials used.
The tests for harmful substances in accordance with STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® take into account important legal regulations, such as: banned azo dyes, formaldehyde, pentachlorophenol, cadmium, and nickel, and requirements from the US Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) regarding lead, numerous harmful chemicals (even if they are not yet legally regulated), and diverse parameters for healthcare. All our products meet Product Class 1, the strictest level, which is used especially for baby products.
Our pillow materials are non-flame retardant. This test has been conducted and passed for our products. This is important in pregnancy products, since flame retardant chemicals can be dangerous to pregnant women.
In addition, the EPS microbeads inside our pillows are naturally antimicrobial. Our pillows are not treated with antibacterial chemicals; this is the attribute of the inherent antimicrobial quality of the fill material (EPS microbeads).
